Week 10

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for a break. These past 10 weeks have been very trying for me and I am burned out and ready for a nice break before I start my next round of classes. This class has made me a better writer because I have learned some new techniques in writing. All of these techniques I will take with me to other classes when writing papers. Well, it was nice having class with you and I have learned a lot that I will continue to use in the future.

Week 9

I am beyond burned out this term. I am looking forward to a R&R over Christmas break before I start new classes. Finishing up my paper for Comp 2 and A&P 2. I feel nervous and tired. I am nervous because I am afraid that my paper isn't written well. I always get really nervous writing a paper, but I think I am a good writer and I usually get good grades on my papers. I still am in the process of editing and revising my paper and also finding some interesting facts to make my paper a little longer to satisfy the length requirement. Well wish me luck!! Bak to writing my papers!!!

Week 8

Coming into the home stretch. This term has been difficult for me. I just had a beautiful baby girl who is 3 months old today!!! I have been back to work for a little over a month now and it has been hard for me to adjust to things and find a good routine for myself and my kids. I have enjoyed my classes this term, but I am burned out and ready for Christmas break. I think I have finally found a good routine for my kids and I and when I can do my schoolwork. I usually bathe them and get them to bed and work on my schoolwork for a few hours each night. It is virtually impossible to get anything accomplished when the kids are awake!! I think I might continue to use my blog after this class is over because it is nice to have somewhere to write down my thoughts.

Peer Reviews

I think peer reviews are great. It's always good to get a second look on your paper to check for grammar and sentence structure. Constructive criticism has always helped me. Your peer may see something that you over looked which could mean a good grade or a bad grade on a paper. I have always had good experiences with peer reviews. I almost always prefer to have someone read my paper to check for things I may have missed.

The Past 6 Weeks

Well the past 6 weeks, have been crazy for me. I am trying to juggle a 3 year old, a 2 month old, school, and a 40 hour work week. My fiancee also works 40 hours a week and we work opposite shifts for the kids, so I don't see him and I normally have to wait until the kids are in bed to tackle my school work. Things have been rough and stressful. I barely have enough time each day to sleep. I never thought when I went back to work things would be so stressful. I am developing a routine everyday though to be able to get more things done each day. It's starting to become easier because I know what I have to do each day in order to get everything accomplished. School, work, and family life is definitely rough, but I keep telling myself furthering my education will benefit my family and I in the future. Thats all for now. Have a good one all.

Week 5

I am starting to feel a little stressed and overwhelmed at this point. I am still in the process of researching for my paper and I also have another term paper due for my A&P 2 class. Since starting back to work after having my daughter, I haven't really gotten back into the swing of things. My fiancee works night and work days, so I am at home with the kids by myslef at night. I have a hard time finding an adequate amount of time to do the proper research for my papers. I've been doing a little here and a little there. I keep going because I know in the long run I am going to benefit from college and I want to make the best for my family. Goodbye for now, back to researching.
